[M4H] Code of Conduct

Before becoming a member you must agree to follow these [M4H] Clan rules

No Foul Language
Please keep it clean. We are a family clan. We have women and children that play here. It is a good show of maturity and manners to not have a foul mouth. It also shows respect to your fellow players to refrain from using bad language. Yes, we know some of the game's we play are rated M and use bad language. That however doesn't mean that we have to do so or lower ourselves to that level of communication.

No Unsportsman Like Conduct
Grief'ing, being a Hater, being excessively annoying, obnoxious, childish or otherwise disrupting the game and others enjoyment of the game by picking a fight, egging on or any disruptive behavior is not accepted in our clan

Have Fun!
Having fun spending time with our online buddies is what it is all about. If you get killed in game, respawn and start back into the action. We are all here to have a good time.

**** MERCS 4 HIRE MISSION STATEMENT ****

[M4H] abide by a set of rules to help keep our servers full and allow members of the clan aswel as outside players to enjoy the full gaming experience.

Our golden rule is "do to others as you would have others do to you". If you want respect then respect should be given.

Rules

Do!

1, Act is a way that holds the name of [M4H] in good light.

2, Try to help other players to get the most out of their game.

3, Everything you can to win fairly.

Do Not!

1, Cheat. It is not becoming of a player from a clan who holds its name in high regard.

2, Swear on screen. It is bad etiquette and makes you look a tool.

3, Use severe profanities such as c**t and pr**k while on TeamSpeak. Some people are offended by certain words, so think before you speak!

4, Whinge and whine because of events in game. No-one wants to hear it.

Teamspeak Etiquette

Teamspeak is a must for all members while online and in game.

1. When Entering a Channel observse the Fact that someone else may be Talking, and Respect that Fact, then please use Etiquette when addressing the channel.

2. Always respect the Channels are dedicated to games, a Do not Disturb Channel should be treated as one, do not harrass or disturb there Game in a detremental way.

3. If Someone does annoy you on teamspeak do not retaliate take the mature aproach, we have a complaint system in place, feel free to Post (OFFICAL) complaints.

4. Do not jump back n forth between channels unnessassarily.

5. If Looking to speak to someone about a completely different subject or Game please respect the others, and move to another channel if asked or if channel has alot of people already in it.

6. Arugements should not be address publicly if you have a issue with someone please ask them to move into another channel for you to "Discuss" it but do not start an argument in a full channel.

7. All persons hosting the channel are to be respected be they staff or a member, by this we mean if people are in a channel for a reason, example the GMOD TTT or COD:MW2 channel respect that Fact that they are there 1st with a purpose.

8. Do not Offend other people if someone says that you have upset them 1st say sorry, end of discussion, if you wish to continue the conversion ask the 2 parties to go into another channel and discuss the issue 1 to 1.

9. Retaliation is not ALLOWED, if someones behavour is in Breach of this Etiquette by any means, for example arguing with you in public or jumping back in forth threw channels do not retaliate we will take this as "joining in".

10. USE THE COMPLAINT SYSTEM, Right click the Client in question and click Make a Complaint, only Senior Officers can view/Delete these. and they will not be addressed publicly we will not put you in the spotlight for issuing a complaint againest anyone.

11. Abuse of the Complaint System will be seen as wasting our Time, for example a complaint simply Noob or something like that will be noted and we will bring it back at you, and if its not valid action may be taken.

Penalties for excessive breach of these Works on a 3 Minor Strike and a 3 major strike basis.

3 Minor strikes gets you a 1 major strike.

2 Major strikes brings you into Discussion.

3 major Strikes will have your position of [M4H] spoken about.

each major strike will get you a short TS suspension for a set period of time. EG 24 hours/1 week etc dependant on circumstances.

and we will not suspend out of the blue, we will give you the chance to defend yourselfs as we always do, in a fair non biased way.

This Etiquette will apply to All members staff and admin alike, Along with the [M4H] code of Conduct, everything should be followed and was accepted when appling to join the Clan.

Do not be Afraid of having fun, but if someone is breaching the code and it is personally annoying or offending you please feel free to post, if it is not effecting you, you do not NEED TO complain about it.

my example is I will not complain about channel jumping as I have the TS3 women turned off so I wont hear it, but if I see someone doing it I might have a small word
